Partnering to success
Based in Brackenfell Cape Town, Siyabonwa Logistix was started by Sidwell Pharela and his wife Nopinkie as a fully black owned entity in May 2009 and to date remains a majority black owned business, commanding a significant fleet and client portfolio.
During January 2015, as part of the company`s growth and expansion plans, Pieter Visser of Tip Trans came on board as both shareholder and director. His vast experience in building up the Tip Trans Group to a significant role player in the Western Cape assisted Siyabonwa to grow both in fleet size and client base and being a sister company to Tip Trans, paved the way for future expansion.
Our mission and vision is to consistently grow in our particular niche market and to become the first choice transporter of local and long-distance bulk and general goods.
We will achieve this through the sustainable growth of the company and its people by way of nurturing an efficient, profitable and service driven environment. We will provide fair and equitable employment across the board; empowering our people to grow the business with us and to become an excellent service provider to our valued clients and partners in the transport business.
We have a fully fitted workshop and onsite mechanic, even though all our vehicles are under maintenance contracts with the various truck manufacturers. All our vehicles are linked to on-road support via major cities and larger towns throughout Southern Africa. All our vehicles are fitted with Digicore SA C-Track tracking units which provides access to live 24-hour satellite tracking of vehicles and their locations.
Currently, our major clients include Coca-Cola Canners, Peninsula Beverage Co., Pioneer Foods, SA Breweries, Donaldson Filtration, Permoseal, Olympia Paints, Peri Wiehahn, Expeditors and RNA Distributors.
